Scholarship Search


Bronx Community College is committed to fostering an inclusive and equitable environment. Use the options below to determine your search criteria. Please note that you can search three different ways.

  • Category Search - Scholarships are assigned categories by your schools. This option allows you to identify and search the categories that you feel are most relevant to you.
  • Keyword(s) Search - Your school may assign a keyword to a scholarship. This option allows you to search that keyword field.
  • Description and Name Search - You can simply search the description or name of scholarships to see if they contain words that you might deem suitable (e.g. Biology).

Amadou Diallo Scholarship



  • For full-time students in good academic standing with financial need.
  • Must be a Bronx resident;
  • Award: $1,474.20 (may be split Fall/Spring)




Booker Quattlebaum Scholarship



  •  Students selected by the English Department. 
  • Award: up to $500.




Carolyn Williams Memorial Scholarship



  • Eligibility: 3.0+ GPA, good standing, on track to graduate; international students eligible; need-based.
  • Two students awarded $500 each.




Celia Bracy Memorial Scholarship



  • Eligibility: good academic standing, financial need.
  • Award: $500.




Con Edison STEM Scholarship



  •  Eligibility: full-time, STEM major (not health), good academic standing, recommended by Financial Aid & STEM faculty.
  • Award: $1,000 ($500 per semester).


 




David Hernandez Scholarship



  •  Eligibility: full-time, 2.0 GPA, funded by the BCC Foundation Run the Bronx account. 
  • Award: $500.




Dean Dolores J. Bullard Memorial Scholarship



  •  Eligibility: full-time, 3.0+ GPA, good standing, volunteer/community service.
  • Award: $1,000 (may be split semesters)




Diana Bonta Nursing Scholarship



  • Eligibility: Nursing student not in first semester, 3.0+ GPA, financial need, enrolled in Nursing 47-48. 
  • Award: $2,500 tuition scholarship.




Edmund O. Rothschild Memorial Scholarship



  • Eligibility: full-time, 2.5+ GPA, NYC HS graduate, undocumented status with financial aid ineligibility.
  •  Tuition-based award amount varies.




General Scholarship



• Eligibility: full-time, good academic standing, financial need; multiple students may be selected.




Goldie & Isidore Malina Memorial Scholarship



  • Eligibility: full-time, good standing, financial need. 
  • Award: $500.




Help a Bronco Graduate Scholarship



Eligibility: full-time, good standing, financial need, on track to graduate.




Kalief Browder Memorial Scholarship



  • Provides a one-year, $2,500 scholarship applied between Fall and Spring. 
  • Eligibility includes: formerly justice-involved or family impacted by justice system; matriculated and on track to complete degree; 2.0+ GPA; min. 9 credits; demonstrated financial need; essay (min. 700 words). 
  • Awards to one or two students; may be split across semesters.
  • Deadline: Friday, September 19, 2025.




Lincoln Scholarship



  • Eligibility: full-time nursing students with financial need; international students may apply.
  •  Award via Nursing Dept.




Marie Nesbitt Promise Prize



  • Given to student(s) demonstrating academic achievement, resilience, service, etc.
  • Award: up to $1,250.




Marsha Cummins Scholarship



  • Eligibility: student excelling in English and continuing toward Bachelor’s. 
  • Award: up to $500.




Martin Fein Memorial Award



  • Eligibility: graduating Biology student, 3.5+ GPA. 
  • Award amount set by Biology Dept.




Mary and Ika Goodwin Memorial Scholarship



  • Eligibility: final semester, 3.0+ GPA, Education Associates Curriculum, transfer plans.
  • Award: $250.




Najee Scholarship



  • Eligibility: full-time, GPA ≤2.0, experienced life without biological parents, financial need, essay required.
  • Two students awarded $1,000 each.




Norman Schaumberger Memorial Scholarship



  • Selected by Math Dept.; criteria within department. 
  • Award: $250.




Pershing Rifles Company E-8/Bob Fernandez Scholarship



  • Eligibility: good standing, financial need, at risk of dropping out.
  • Award: $2,500 per semester.




Ponce Bank College Scholarship



  • Eligibility: must reside in low-to-moderate income community; publicized as Ponce-CUNY Scholar.
  • Award: $1,000.




Reid Strieby & Rhonda Liss Scholarship



  • Eligibility: CLIP “Exiting Student” in good standing with community involvement. 
  • Two students per year; $1,000 each.




Robert Clarke Memorial Scholarship



  • Eligibility: matriculated, good standing, financial need, at least half-time, taking Chemistry.
  • Award: $500.




Rudin Nursing Scholarship



  • Eligibility: full-time nursing students with financial need; international students may apply.
  • Award determined by Nursing Dept.




SubSathiya Scholarship Fund



  • Eligibility: accounting major, good standing, financial need; preference to international. 
  • Award: $250.
